I am thrilled to share their latest [and quite exciting!] adventure — plans to open a MicroBoutique in the heart of Portland! I’ll let them tell you about it in their own words:
“TrulySanctuary Apparel
is joining the eco {nomically & logically} responsible movement of
creating spectacular tiny spaces. We have become so enamored with the “Tiny House” trend
and plan to play on similar ideas to create our first storefront: a
micro retail space located in the heart of “The Alphabet District,” an
emerging neighborhood connecting Nob Hill and the Pearl District in NW
Portland, Oregon. Any funds exceeding our goal will be put towards
manufacturing our garments locally and ethically right here in Portland!
We are Ron and Beth Remsberg, husband & wife, designers, screen printers and co-owners of TrulySanctuary Apparel.
After 7 years of online retail and traveling, we have made Portland our
home. Portland has a strong dedication to supporting small local
business and we are constantly contacted by locals inquiring where our
storefront is. We have started delivering orders locally to meet this
demand. Based on the amount of local sales we are making in person and
online, it’s definitely time for our first storefront!
We’ve never met with investors or borrowed from banks. We are self
taught in everything we do. Every aspect of our business has been grown
responsibly by us through savings, hard work and patience. We are so
grateful for this platform, because it’s allowing us to enlist the help
of those who have already said they believe in us. We can remain debt
free and pay it back creatively with the resources we already have!”
