My mom was (and is) so great about remembering me and my sisters during every little holiday. We would come out of our rooms on Valentine’s Day, Easter, etc. and there would be a thoughtful treat for us at our place at the dining table. I even remember her giving us gifts one year on HER birthday! Her thoughtfulness has always stuck with me and I couldn’t wait to do this for my own child. With this year being so crazy and trick-or-treating out of the picture for us, I want to make Benjamin’s holiday season even more magical. So this morning he was greeted at the dining table with his very own Boo Basket to get him in a spooktacular Halloween spirit! Here are some boo basket inspiration and filler ideas for you.

Boo Basket Filler Ideas
You don’t have to spend a lot of money making your child’s Boo Basket magical! I purchased nearly everything for Benjamin’s basket from the Dollar Tree, Target dollar spot, and Walmart Halloween section. He loves cats so I also added a laughing cat toy from Target (a huge hit!) and this Weird But True Halloween book with 300 Spooky Facts to Scare You Silly. It’s the perfect size to fit in a plastic bucket!
Halloween sweets, treats, and more have arrived on Amazon!
Adorable Halloween flags and pennants are super cute and popular right now! They’re a great way to add dimension to the basket and then can be used to decorate your child’s room for the season/holiday. Here are some cute ones I found on Etsy!
