I’m back with another gift list! Today I am rounding up Budget Stocking Stuffer Ideas for Big Kids and Teens! I have to admit that I love stuffing stockings almost as much as actually giving gifts. The challenge of finding small, affordable gifts for my family and friends’ stockings is fun for me! Sine my son and nephews are getting older, I dedicated this list to bigger kids and teens but in the past I have shared Stocking Stuffers for Young Kids and Stocking Stuffers for Toddlers.
Tips for Stuffing Christmas Stockings
One of the most popular things I have seen with my son and his friends is fidget toys. I love that you can buy assortment packs which make them extremely affordable. Pick up one or more and tuck one into each stocking. They’re great to wrap up for class gifts as well.
Another favorite idea is to hit the candy section (hello, Dollar Tree!) and pick up a few favs to include as well.
Wrapping stocking stuffers is not a necessity but it adds to the fun. It is also a perfect way to use up those wrapping paper odds and ends.
Stocking Stuffer Ideas
Social Media savvy parents may recognize this beanie from TikTok videos and Instagram posts. Teens surely will recognize this popular hat with over 100K reviews. Great for girls and guys because it comes in tons of colors.
I like to include a useful item or two in stockings each year. Just because its useful doesn’t means it has to be boring though. Case in point, these adorable wool blend socks will keep feet toasty during cold weather while being fun and colorful. (Boys style here.)
For Budding Artists
Wreck This Journal has been out for almost 10 years and is still popular and fun. Great for budding artists, teens, kids and more. Lots of activities and prompts to encourage imagination and creativity.
Budding artists (particularly drawers) might enjoy finding this Illustration School book in their Christmas stocking this year. Include a few pencils and your child will be off and drawing!
Has your family jumped on the Animal Crossing boat? These cute aqua beads kits are great for the game lovers and those who love graft projects too!
Stocking Stuffer Ideas for Puzzle & Game Lovers
Game enthusiasts will love the puzzle game Kanoodle. The brain teaser is great for ages 8 and up and comes in a variety of versions. Great to pack for trips too!
Five Crowns is one of our favorite family games. We love to break it out when cousins and grandparents visit and for family game nights.
My son LOVES this memory game. I love that it keeps him occupied and off screens for a bit while having fun and improving memory and focus. There is also this memory cube, which my son received for his birthday, that makes a great gift!
Little Extras
My bestie got these first aid kits for the teens in her life last year and they were a hit. Perfect for backpacks, sports bags and cars.
Cold hard cash is a popular gift for teens especially. Make it a little more interesting and fun by placing it in a maze box.
If your child is book crazy like me, they’ll love a book light for bedtime reading sessions. These are also great for traveling and car trips.
Kids love science experiments and the old Mentos in the Coke bottle remains a favorite. Kick it up a notch with this fun little kit.
Stay tuned as I have more gift lists to come. Also, you can always visit my Amazon Shop to see my latest favorites and find products I have blogged about easily.
