Last week, I had the pleasure of attending a hand lettering workshop taught by my friend, Amanda, of Mail Made Easy. Her class took place in Archer Paper Goods at SunTrust Park (the new home of the Atlanta Braves). Thankfully, I had posted a Story to Instagram that Amanda caught in time, because I was headed to the location at Ponce City Market. Oops! Anyway, I finally made it and it was well worth fighting that
good ole’ Atlanta traffic for. 😏
Ya’ll, Amanda’s workshops are legit.
Our spots at the table came with a hand lettered name tag, packet of ideas, inspiration, lettering sheets and more, tools to use and keep (as well as tools to share with the table), fun vintage postage stamps, Atlanta-inspired die cuts, and a Rifle Paper Co. “Atlanta” card. We also had our choice of two cards to address, which Amanda designed herself. They’re not only super fun sentiments but beautifully letterpressed. Here are some peeks from the workshop:
Available for purchase, were several of Amanda’s die cuts. You can see and shop her line of amazing products, here. I picked up several for myself and as Christmas gifts. Christmas AF is my current fave. Haha! Check out these awesome postage stamps too. I love using a variety of stamps on envelopes – it makes it so fun and colorful! She really hooked us up!
This was my first time visiting The Battery Atlanta | “The South’s preeminent lifestyle destination. Shop, Dine, Work, Live and Experience The Battery Atlanta at SunTrust Park, the home of the Atlanta Braves.” It was my first time making it out there but I’ll definitely be back. Great restaurants and shops, including Archer Paper Goods, where the workshop was held. It’s a great place for stationery and gift finds. I picked up a few goodies for Benjamin’s upcoming birthday and a new monthly-view planner for 2018. Here are a few peeks of the store:
