Hi! It was so great getting to know a little about some of you during the PaperKrane giveaway this week [re: comments]. I love “meeting” readers or followers of my social media. Some of my very best friends in life I’ve met online! In fact, when I moved [permanently] to Atlanta back in February, I actually got connected with my mom’s group via Instagram! Recently, a few of my friends and I got together with our babies for a [for fun] photoshoot of them wearing Sugarboo & Co. tees and House of Mia leggings. How stinkin’ cute are they?
As you know Autumn Is My Favorite. The days are already cooler around here and I love it! It’s also always been my busy season with photography (which of course, I love too!) due, mostly, to holiday family sessions. This year I’m actually keeping very busy with commercial clients with a sprinkling of family and first birthday sessions. Regardless, my schedule is FULL. Between Joleen Pete Photography and recently joining InkSpot Workshop as their Creative Coordinator, I don’t think I could add another project if I wanted to! *wink*
Even with my busy work schedule, I make it a priority to spend quality time with Benjamin, which often includes fun little adventures with friends. On Monday of this week we went with my mom’s group to Berry Patch Farms in Woodstock, Georgia for Benjamin’s first hay ride and visit to the pumpkin patch.
Our first stop was the “baby patch”. They had teeny pumpkins and gourds strewn all around for the babies to play with and select one to keep. Let’s face it, it was also the perfect photo op!
You may remember my post about the new Sugarboo & Co. store in Brookhaven (Atlanta, Georgia) back in July. Yesterday, I had the pleasure of shooting on location for their website. I’ve been to the store a few times since grand opening and each time it’s like a new experience. They are constantly moving things around for new, unique product. I always leave there wanting to completely redecorate our apartment! Here is a peek and a few others can already be found on the Sugarboo & Co. website:
The next few weeks are going to be a whirlwind! Ben’s little sister flies in tomorrow and is staying with us all next week. I’m looking forward to her visit and her help with the baby during a very busy week. I have a first birthday session on Saturday (so fun!) and we have another first birthday party to attend on Sunday. Tuesday is my photoshoot for North American Bear Co. and I seriously cannot wait!! Everything is starting to fall into place and I’m getting very excited. Models and location are set. Product is here and I’ve started putting together looks / gathering props for staging. It’s going to be great! With client work and birthday party prep, I haven’t been able to finish my new website. Whomp whomp. I am going to try REALLY hard to get it ready to launch by the end of next week. Wish me luck, lovelies!
