While visiting California a couple of months ago, Benjamin and I were able to have a mommy & son date at “The Happiest Place On Earth”. If you’ve been following for a while, you know how much we love Disney and jump at every opportunity to visit one of the parks or share our #DisneySide at home. As Benjamin gets older, I have treasured each and every new park experience we’ve had. This trip was fun because I got to introduce Benjamin to the OG of Disney Classics: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Talk about a magical break! As soon as we walked through the tunnel into Disneyland, Mickey Mouse himself was arriving to meet and greet guests. Benjamin was able to share high fives and thumbs up — and looked terribly cute doing it. I am totally framing this!
We pretty much made a bee line for Fantasyland. Aesthetically, the Alice in Wonderland teacups is my favorite ride. It’s just so colorful and pretty isn’t it? I grew up riding this at Disneyland so it came as such a surprise that the one at Walt Disney World isn’t the exact design (it’s covered).

A couple of weeks prior to our trip, I introduced Benjamin to Snow White for the very first time! I wish I could claim it as part of an plan to get him interested in the characters and story before our trip. It wasn’t even a thought at the time, but it’s totally my takeaway and tip from this trip! Most kids want to go on the rides and meet the characters from the newest, popular Disney movies. This typically means longer lines. *wink, wink* You see where I’m going with this?
Introduce your little ones to the earliest Disney Classics right before your visit. Make it a special viewing with a fun, themed snack or dress up, Disneybounding style! It’s guaranteed to make the experience more memorable and exciting for everyone.

Benjamin was so excited when we came upon the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs ride. He loved it so much, we rode it multiple times. I really don’t think he would have been interested at all if he hadn’t seen the movie yet. I’m already thinking about all the fun things we can do to introduce him to new [to him], classic characters before our next visit!
For your first Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs viewing, try these yummy Apple Nachos! The “recipe” is simple.
- Slice apples.
- Toast coconut flakes (or don’t).
- Drizzle almond butter.
- Sprinkle on raisins and coconut flakes.
