Good Habit Box Review

* I received my first Good Habit Box, complimentary, in order to review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I've recently discovered a company based here in Atlanta, Georgia, called Good Habit Box. They believe that "living a healthy and happy life starts with good habits" and I couldn't agree more. We should all agree that it's easier to make good choices when good options are readily and easily accessible. I'm certainly not a great eater when I don't make it a point to be, by stocking up on healthy options. There is a great quote by Benjamin Franklin that embodies this idea, that goes:

“If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail!”

Good Habit Box wants to encourage you to be mindful of what you're consuming, by offering "delicious, clean, simple food options" and to make sure good habits are always within reach.

Their products promise NO artificial color, flavor, sweetener, preservatives, high-fructose corn syrup, or trans fats.

Good Habit Box is a subscription based business. You can select the box contents, frequency, and length of your subscription. Starting at just $7.99 a box, you can receive a combination of snacks, teas, breakfasts, or shakes.
I received the Be Mindful box, which includes breakfasts, snacks, and teas. I loved the simple  and informational packaging! Included in the box is a "cheat sheet" that provides nutritional information, ingredients, and any directions. The only thing I didn't see and would've liked to have, was a label on the tea that included the name. They were otherwise fairly easy to figure out upon inspection.
I have to admit that when I first saw the names of some of these items, I thought, "Umm, what the heck?" I'm not the most adventurous of eaters and it wasn't until my first Whole30 last year, that I really started experimenting with flavor. Even still, I tried the snacks with much trepidation and skepticism.

I first tasted the Italian Chickpeas, and oh my goodness, were they good! I would purchase the box for those alone. Garlic, oregano, basil, onion powder, and lemon. Holy yum. The Curried Cashews were pretty great too. It wasn't in my box, but next time I hope to get the Cinnamon Apple Walnut snack pack. That looks amazing.
Next to try, was one of the teas. I love hot tea! The Premium Black Tea was fantastic (all the exclamation points)! It was such a high quality satchel, filled with dried fruits and herbs. It had an entire dried cranberry in it and smelled amazing! This is going to be my new go-to Christmastime drink for sure. Also in my box, was an Organic Green Tea. I haven't tried it yet, but later this week I plan to try my hand at making my own green tea lemonade with it. I can't wait!
I was most excited to try the Chocolate PB Oatmeal because, chocolate. But honestly, I didn't love it. It was kind of a weird concept for me. I think I would really enjoy the Apple Cardamom Walnut Oatmeal or Very Forest Berry Oatmeal. Another product I haven't been able to try yet [because it wasn't in my box] was the Dark Chocolate Protein Shake. I'm pretty sure I NEED that for after my next visit to the gym.
Perhaps my favorite thing about the discovery of all this yummy goodness, is that with each Good Habit Box purchased, one meal is donated to a child in need. This is a good habit I can really stand by!
