Girl's Getaway Weekend Trip to Nashville

Last weekend was awesome and so needed! My cousin, Jessica, and I decided to to have a girl's getaway weekend in Nashville. We chose Nashville because it is almost dead center between where she lives in St. Louis and I live in Atlanta. Also, neither of us had ever spent any real time there. I'd been once before for a conference but wasn't able to spend a whole lot of time exploring. It was an easy and beautiful road trip, only taking me about 4 hours to arrive.

We had the absolute cutest AirBnB! I love using AirBnB to find unique places to stay. If you haven't used booked one before, I highly recommend it! Use my link to sign up and get a $40 travel credit!

It was pretty fun to stay in a vintage camper! There was a separate full bathroom and even an outdoor shower. Take a look:
Our AirBnB was in a great location, and within walking distance to The Pharmacy, a popular burger parlor and beer garden. It was incredible! The Pharmacy is known for it's burgers and homemade sodas, and did not disappoint! After our late lunch we headed back to our place to hang out and get ready to go out for dancing!
There is no shortage of fun bars and live music in Nashville! We had the best time bar crawling and dancing our way through downtown.

Saturday we did a bit of exploring and recovering *wink*. We spent some time at Centennial Park wher we saw the Parthenon—a full-scale replica of the original in Athens, built in 1897.
It rainy off and on all day, as it does so often in the South during the summer. We visited a couple of popular Nashville Instagram walls and drove down Nashville Music Row. We had lunch on the patio at Taco Mamacita, while the rain was pouring down. It was so much fun and really very yummy!
Sunday we were both heading home but before we left, we went to the highly acclaimed Five Daughters Bakery. Oh my goodness! I can't wait to get back there because those donuts are an experience!
Lastly, we visited the Nashville Flea Market for about an hour. The flea market is awesome(!!) but it was just so dang hot, that it wasn't much fun walking around. I hope I'm able to go again in cooler weather.
Nashville is a really fun city and I see why so many people love to visit! It's not too long of a drive from Atlanta either, so I really hope that means more visits in my future. I loved the opportunity to spend some quality time with my cousin as well. Where is somewhere you'd like to visit on a girls trip?
