On Thursday I turned 33! My bestie, Candice, flew me out to Miami to join her for her sister's 25th birthday trip. There were 8 of us total. I had to be up at 4 a.m. to get ready and get to the airport for my 7 a.m. flight. It was nice getting into Ft. Lauderdale before 10 in the morning! Candice had an overnight flight from California and was already waiting for me.We took a shuttle into Doral [a Miami 'burb] where we were staying. After getting settled, meeting all the girls, and enjoying several celebratory mimosas and drinks, we headed to Wynwood Art District that afternoon. It was the one and only thing I had my heart really set on doing during the trip and I was thrilled that we were going.
It's no secret that I love street art! My family regularly visits and photographs Atlanta's Living Walls and we love stumbling upon Tiny Door ATL installations. Friends. I can't believe I'm saying this but Atlanta has nothing on Miami! Wynwood Art District is evvvvveeeerrrrrything, ya'll. I wish I had spent even more time there than I did. There was just so much to see. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. Enjoy!!
