Benjamin's Peppa Pig 3rd Birthday Party

This year Benjamin's birthday falls on Black Friday. It's tricky planning his birthday celebration with it being so close to (if not on) Thanksgiving. We celebrated his Vintage Storybook themed first birthday two weeks before his actual birthday. Last year we hosted an intimate Mickey Mouse Clubhouse themed second birthday for him here in Georgia and then celebrated with another party and our first family visit to Disneyland when we went to California for Thanksgiving.
This year we kept things super chill. My sister and nephew flew in a couple of days ago and are staying through Thanksgiving. Originally we were going to do a small party with Benjamin's cousin and a few friends at our local "bounce place" (trampoline park) but after so much rain, we decided to take advantage of our gorgeous fall weather. I am so glad we did! Today could not have been any more gorgeous. It was a beautiful and fun day with our close friends and family. Benjamin's GG and PawPaw were there and Ben took the day off of work to be with us, too!
Benjamin loves three things pretty passionately, and those are 1. Diggers 2. Playdoh 3. Peppa Pig. We decided he'd be pretty stoked about a Peppa party and went with that!
How amazing is this cake that my friend, Lori, made?! She made Benjamin's Mickey cake last year, too. So talented! This year she collaborated with Deb, of Yummy Delicious Cookies, to incorporate these beautifully made custom cookies. These cookies have become a birthday tradition for Benjamin and one that we all enjoy thoroughly each year!! The best thing about these sweets? They actually taste AMAZING!! These are two very talented women and I'm so thrilled to know them!
I kept the food, decor, and favors super simple. For favors, each guest received a cookie and I filled a bowl with bazookas and Peppa Pig magnifying glasses to choose from. For lunch the kids had Halo tangerines, cinnamon applesauce pouches, and Chick-fil-a nuggets. I re-labeled the water bottles with "Muddy Water" printable labels I purchased from Red Apple Studio. It was actually my first time using party printables but definitely will not be my last!
The park we went to was PlayTown Suwanee -- a seriously whimsical park nestled in the trees. It's one of our favorites and perfect for a birthday party! The boys loved running around, swinging, sliding, and playing in the sand pit.
Benjamin's friends and family sure did spoil him! He also got a surprise gift from Nana and Pop Pop! He had a great day and couldn't wait to get back home to open and play with all his new toys with his cousin. So many special memories today and I go to bed with a full heart!
