"A portrait of my family, once a week, every week, in 2014"
I know it's only the second week, and I'm far from a creative burn out, but right now I am truly loving this project. I've picked up my DSLR more during the day in the last two weeks with my own family, than I usually do in a month! I'm grateful for it as I've already captured so many great photos that I might normally not have. I find myself looking for more opportunities or thinking about what situations might be important to me/our family to capture.

I love this week's photos! That photo of Benjamin is a happy accident and a completely honest representation of our recent crazy days with a toddler. They're messy. He's messy. Our apartment is messy. The lighting on this particular morning was gorgeous and I am thrilled to have captured Benjamin in the middle of his mess, eating his favorite snack, an apple! The photo of my handsome husband was taken this morning when we got home from church. We're currently in the middle of a series, called "Ask It!", with Andy Stanley, and thoroughly enjoying it. You can watch the series for yourself, here.
